Mosquito Toolkit

Welcome to the Environmental Services online mosquito toolkit, where you will find resources on preventing mosquito bites and taking action to keep your community safe.  The purpose of the toolkit is to provide ready-to-use information to share with your community, coworkers, and others that empowers them to take action to prevent mosquito bites.

How do I use the toolkit?

Click on the Communities or Municipalities tab to find educational resources that may be printed out to share with others or used for posts on Social Media.  The Media tab includes articles and videos to review and share.  The Picture tab has images to include with posts or newsletters.  Finally, the social media tab contains draft posts and messages that can be copied and pasted online.

The best time to share these messages is when you notice increased mosquito activity where you live, work, and play.  Another critical time to share this information is after a rain event or at the start of the monsoon season.
